The Hero hitsSunny Deol music stores

It really was zara hatke. The music of the Sunny Deol-Preity Zinta starrer, The Hero: Love Story of A Spy, was released at a Mumbai music store on February 18.

Interestingly, the guests of honour were lead vocalists Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Jaspinder Narula and musician Uttam Singh instead of the film's stars, which is the prevalent norm in the industry.

The Hero is the late lyricist Anand Bakshi's last film -- he wrote four of its songs while Javed Akhtar penned one after Bakshi's death last year.

The romantic thriller is scheduled for an April 11 release.

Niwas to direct Lara E Niwas

Despite the debacle called Dum, E Niwas has bagged producer Vijay Galani's [of Ajnabee fame] new project.

Bardasht will star Bobby Deol, Lara Dutta and Sharman Joshi. The third heroine for the film is yet to be finalised.

Bardasht, which has been scripted by Vikram Bhatt, will be launched on February 25. Shooting will only begin on March 15.

Mithunda is back!Mithun

Even after Mithun Chakraborty moved to Ooty where he opened his hotel Monarch, he is still being offered lead roles in Hindi films. After all, the actor not only offers them his hotel's facilities at a discounted rate, he also completes their films on schedule. Most important of all, Mithun-starrers more than recover their investment, since people in the interiors love to watch the aging actor.

Now, Mithunda is all set to make a comeback to Mumbai. He recently agreed to play a negative role in Vikram Bhatt's new film.
