Sanjay DuttSanjay Dutt is preparing to work on Zindaa, his third home production after Kaante and Plan.

"Zindaa," he reveals, is the story of a father and daughter. It will be shot in Vancouver. I will continue to make films that have international appeal... like Kaante."

Apparently, Zindaa will be based on Dutt's life; he will play the father.

Meanwhile, Plan starring Dutt, Sanjay Suri, Dino Morea, Bikram Saluja, Rohit Roy, Priyanka Chopra and Isha Koppikar is progressing at a brisk pace.

Tina's tribute to Dhirubhai

Tina AmbaniSoon after sister-in-law Nita Ambani made waves with her projects -- the Dhirubhai Ambani School and Reliance Petroleum's Jamnagar township -- Tina Ambani has decided do her bit in honour of her late father-in-law, Reliance patriarch Dhirubhai Ambani.

Tina will make a documentary on the business legend. Her flamboyant husband, Dhirubhai's younger son Anil, has apparently given his consent for the project.

Anil Sharma's patriotic wave

Sunny DeolNow that The Hero, starring Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta and Priyanka Chopra, is expected to hit the marquee on April 11, director Anil Sharma plans to make yet another patriotic film.

His latest film will reprise the classic Haqeeqat and will star Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol and Aishwarya Rai.

Vinta's White Noise

Vinta NandaVinta Nanda is ready to begin shooting her film, White Noise.

There were rumours that Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen would star in it, but Nanda clarifies, "It's a baseless rumour. I wonder who started it. My film has Nandana Sen, not (her father) Amartya Sen."

"Nandana is an experienced campaigner since she has done a lot of theatre and Canadian cinema," says Nanda. "Watch out for the depth in her face."

Nandana is co-scripting the film with Nanda. The Rs 1.5 crore venture is scheduled to go on the floors in March and will be completed the same month.

Perizaad in Ghai's film

Perizaad ZorabianModel-turned-actress Perizaad Zorabian, who made her debut in Nagesh Kukunoor's Bollywood Calling, has been signed by Subhash Ghai for Mukta Arts' Jogger's Park.

"It's about an old judge and a young girl who meet in a park," she says. "The shooting commences on March 13. I just can't wait!"

The Rs 1 crore film will be directed by Anant Balani and shot in and around Jogger's Park in the Mumbai suburb, Bandra.
