The rift in the Nayar family following the much-publicised wedding of India-born businessman Arun Nayar with Hollywood star Elizabeth Hurley is going to echo in the courtrooms of Jodhpur.
Arun's father Vinod Nayar -- who recently complained of being humiliated by his daughter-in-law during her Hindu wedding ceremony held in Jodhpur's Umaid Bhavan Palace on March 9 -- has decided to join forces with Vishnu Khandelwal, who had filed a complaint in the city court against the couple for hurting Hindu religious sentiments, claimed the counsel for the complainant.

''Vinod expressed his support to the case with a written statement as he could not be personally present there (in court) due to physical discomfort,'' Saraswat added. He said photos of the couple hugging and kissing, which appeared in Hello! magazine, would also be used as proof to ''substantiate our claim."
