Saritha blames Mukesh of bigamy

South actress Saritha and actor Mukesh who were separated some years ago is contemplating legal action and charging Mukesh with bigamy.

Just a few days after Malayalam actor Mukesh and dancer Methil Devika announced their marriage, the actor’s first wife and award winning actress, Saritha, challenged the legality of the marriage.

She claimed that Mukesh has not divorced her so how can he marry another woman?

Mukesh, son of legendary theatre personality O Madhavan, made his debut in movies with the 1982 film Balloon.

He married Saritha in 1988. Saritha made her debut in K Balachander's Maro Charithra opposite Kamal Haasan, which was remade in many languages, including Hindi (Ek Duje Ke Liye).

The couple separated some years ago. Saritha claims that the divorce petition was withdrawn after Mukesh failed to attend the court hearings.

Now that Mukesh and Methil Devika are married, Saritha is contemplating legal action and charging Mukesh with bigamy.
