First Look: Mahesh Babu's Dookudu

Telugu actor Mahesh Babu is busy with Dookudu these days.

After a tepid Mahesh Khaleja, the 'Prince' is doing Dookudu, a Srinu Vytla film being produced by Achanta Gopichand, Anil Sunkara and Achanta Ram under the 14 Reels Entertainment banner.

Vytla is known for mixing several genres with an emphasis on comedy (Dhee, Ready, Dubai Seenu, Namo Venkatesa, etc).

Mahesh's leading lady is the young and pretty Samantha Ruth Prabhu (of Ye Maaya Chesaave and Brindavanam). This is the first time that this pair is coming together.

Sonu Sood, Prakash Raj Tanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam, Nazar, Sayaji Shinde, Sudha, and Vennela Kishore are the other artistes on board in this film.
 
Audiences got their first look at the film on the birthday of Mahesh's father, superstar of yesteryears, Krishna (May 31).

Dookudu has been shot on location in Turkey, Dubai, Mumbai, Hyderabad and some countries in Europe. The music is composed by S Thaman, and Prasad Murella is director of photography.

The choreography is by Dinesh and Raju Sundaram, and Peter Haynes takes care of the action.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Dookudu, most likely in August, to coincide with Mahesh's birthday on August 9.
