Madhuri Dixit, who is all set to make her big screen comeback with Gulab Gang and Dedh Ishqiya soon, has been roped in by Ayan Mukherji to do a special song in his upcoming release Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
According to reports, the actress did a look test for the song on April 23.
“It was a photoshoot to try and figure out her look. We’re still working on it and developing her look,”
Word is, Ranbir will be joining Madhuri in what promises to be her most mass-centric dance number since Ek do teen in Tezaab.
The film, Ayan says, is very much on the track with only the song sequence remaining to be shot. One also hears that this special item number will be used to introduce Ranbir in the film in the credit titles.
Farah Khan has been roped in to choreograph the number.
