The legendary actress will be the first figure from the classical world of Indian cinema to be displayed at the waxworks museum.

Last month, Madame Tussauds staff met Asha Bhosle for her wax statue that will be displayed in the Bollywood music zone.

Madhubala's wax figure will be styled on arguably her most memorable character Anarkali from the classic Mughal-E-Azam, which also featured Dilip Kumar, with whom she had a romantic relationship that ended badly.

Madhubala then married the eccentric genius Kishore Kumar and sadly died some years later, a consequence of heart disease.
