In a lavish and much publicised wedding, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got married on Saturday in Castello Odescalchi in Bracciano, near Rome, Italy.
The ceremony was performed by a Scientology minister, in front of some of Hollywood's biggest names. Among the guests were Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith, fellow Scientologists John Travolta and Jenna Elfman, Jim Carrey, Brooke Shields, producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director JJ Abrams (Mission Impossible III).

Holmes, 27, wore a stunning Armani gown for wedding, while Cruise, 44, wore a navy blue Armani tuxedo.
The next day, the couple flew to Maldives for their honeymoon.
This is the third wedding for Cruise. He was previously married to Nicole Kidman and Mimi Rogers. Holmes was previously engaged to American Pie actor Chris Klein. The couple have an infact daughter, Suri.
