Kangna Ranaut, who is currently working on the sequel to Tanu Weds Manu, will be seen in a double role in the film.

Director Aanand L Rai shared her first look from the film (left) and tweeted: 'Mere ghar se. Shayad bahot dur, Ek purana makaan padta tha… Mera ek humshakal dost. Waha raha karta tha :):)'

The film will also star R Madhavan, Jimmy Shergill, Deepak Dobriyal, Swara Bhaskar and Mohd Zeeshan.


20th Kolkata International Film Festival begins

The 20th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) kicked off on November 10.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Tanuja and Irrfan Khan.

Amitabh Bachchan tweeted: 'KIFF .. Kolkata International Film Festival .. privileged to be a part of it .. a moving experience, of respect given and love !'

The eight-day festival will see around 137 films from 60 countries, including 13 Bengali films.


Garm Hawa to re-release on November 14

MS Sathyu's National Award winning movie Garm Hawa has been digitally restored and is being re-released on November 14.

Shabana Azmi tweeted: 'The most definitive film on Partition Garm Hava is being rereleased in 9 cities on 14th Nov. Do not miss.'


Poonam Pandey to make Telugu debut

Starlet Poonam Pandey, who was last seen in an item number in 2013 Kannada film Love Is Poison, is now all set to make her debut in Telugu film industry.

Confirming the news, Poonam tweeted: 'On my way for Press Conference for 4 my debut Telugu Movie with Ace Cinematographer @ramprasaddop and Director Veeru K.'


Hamlet - The Clown Prince goes to Delhi

Rajat Kapoor's play Hamlet - The Clown Prince has reached Delhi. 

Actress Kalki Koechlin tweeted: 'Delhi peeps, we are coming to your city with our play Hamlet the clown prince, Kamani theatre 15th, 16th, 17th. Do come and laugh!'

The play, which also features Atul Kumar, Vinay Pathak, Puja Sarup, Sujay Saple, Neil Bhoopalam, Namit Das, is a comical adaptation of Shakespeare's tragic play Hamlet.


Selfie keeps Shahid Kapoor and Ali Bhatt warm

Shahid Kapoor, who is shooting for Shaandar in London, shared a picture of himself with his sister Sanah and co-star Alia Bhatt.

'On set #shaandaar night shoot freezing cold group hug selfie mode fun times @aliaa08 and baby sister keeping me warm,' Shahid wrote.  

Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film will also star Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapur.


Maryam Zakaria flaunts her baby bump

Swedish-Iranian actress Maryam Zakaria, who was seen in a bit role in Agent Vinod, shared a picture of her baby bump on Twitter.

'Selfie with my angel #momtobe #babybump #lovemybaby,' she tweeted.

Meanwhile, she is taking care of herself. ''Had a very good class today. We concentrate on breathing and stretching. Feeling relax and very hungry. #pregnancyworkout,' she added.

Maryan is married to choreographer Arvind Thakur.


It's celebration time for Sonakshi

Sonakshi Sinha and her Tevar co-stars Arjun Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee, and director Amit Sharma went out to party after launching the film's trailer.  
She shared a picture and tweeted: 'What do you do after a great trailer launch?!? Celebrate. Duh!' 

Meanwhile, several celebrities turned to Twitter to wish luck to the team.

Karan Johar tweeted: 'Sanjay kapoor has a whopper hit on his way!!! #Tevar ....best of luck.'

Nikhil Advani wrote: 'Best of luck @arjunk26. You've come a long way baby! It looks huge.'

Tevar will release on January 9.
