President Kalam pays tribute to Gemini

President APJ Abdul KalamPresident A P J Abdul Kalam has condoled the death of Tamil actor Gemini Ganesan and described him as one of the most outstanding film personalities to make his mark in southern Cinema.

He said Gemini Ganesan's acting provided happiness to thousands of viewers.

'Gemini Ganesan was one of the most famous actors who strode across the stage of South Indian cinema. In a career spanning more than half a century, he brought joy and happiness to thousands of his fans and to lakhs of cinema viewers through his roles, which were full of passion and emotion,' President Kalam said.
