John Abraham to produce Imtiaz Ali's brother's directorial debut

John Abraham and director Imtiaz Ali are friends again.

Not that they were openly at loggerheads. But at one point, it was John who had been finalised for Rockstar.

Then Imtiaz offered it to Saif Ali Khan and finally

to Ranbir Kapoor.

The rest, as they say, is chemistry.

Much water has flown under the bridge since then.

Now John, a reputed producer, will produce Imtiaz Ali’s brother’s directorial debut.

"Yes, I am producing Imtiaz Ali’s brother Sajid’s film Banana. The film stars newcomers. I am not playing a role in it," John says.
