'Maybe I was a little bit careless in the past,' Jennifer Lopez says in her first interview after her reported marriage to singer Marc Antony last month. '
I'm not a perfect person,' J Lo said. 'I make mistakes. I just feel like I'm in a better place about who I am. I follow my heart. That's the one thing I can say about myself. And I love that about myself.'
J Lo did not confirm if Anthony and she were actually man and wife in her interview to InStyle magazine.
'I feel like this is my phase two, like it's a new beginning,' she said in that roundabout way stars often use to explain a situation.
'We have a great working relationship,' she said about Anthony. 'I have to keep my work and my personal life separate. Otherwise it gets blurry and it gets messy.'
Both of them plan to work on a film based on the life of singer Hector Lavoe. 'He's a tragic singer. It's a love story between a husband and wife.'
