Jaya Bachchan, who was spared the COVID-19 virus when her family, including husband Amitabh, son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya, was infected with it in 2020, has tested positive.
The project that gets directly affected is Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, in which Jaya has a pivotal role.
Shabana Azmi, who also plays an important role in the Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer, also tested positive recently.
The film's next shooting schedule in Delhi has now been postponed.
"The shooting schedule for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani was to begin on February 2 and end on February 14. First, Shabana Azmi tested positive and now, Jaya Bachchan. Karan has called off the schedule. He doesn't want to take a risk with the rest of the cast and crew," a source tells Subhash K Jha.
