Is Mohanlal playing God in Koothara?

Second Show director Srinath Rajendran is back with his new film, curiously titled Koothara.

The film’s trailer reveals the reasoning behind the title. The name comes from its lead characters Koubrin (Bharath), Tarun (Tovino Thomas) and Ram (Sunny Wayne).

The highlight of the film is the role of superstar Mohanlal, as a local gypsy. With unkempt looks, beard and long hair, he is the incarnation of God himself, the trailer suggests.

Janani Iyer, Shritha Sivadas and Gauthami Nair play the female leads.

Produced under the banner of Marikar Films, Koothara has been scripted by Vini Vishwalal.

Pappu wields the camera and  Gopi Sundar scores the music.
