Beating even the super-prolific Akshay Kumar's track record, Prabhas has seven films lined up for release in 2022, the pandemic permitting.

It will start with Radhe Shyam, the actor's first full-fledged love story.

It will be followed by Om Raut's mythological Adipurush, where Prabhas plays Lord Rama.

Kriti Sanon plays Sita while Saif Ali Khan is cast as Ravan.

While these are ready for release, the Telugu superstar has five other films on the floors, including Salaar in Telugu and Kannada, helmed by KGF Director Prashanth Neel and Ashwini Nag's untitled sci-fi film in Telugu and Hindi, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan.

Producer Priyanka Dutt tells Subhash K Jha, "It is science fiction, and we hope to release in 2022, depending on the COVID situation. Contrary to rumours, Mr Bachchan doesn't have a cameo. He features in a full-length role, like Prabhas."

Then, there's Prabhas's 25th release, Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit.

With the pandemic playing havoc, Prabhas has put three projects on hold, preferring to clear the backlog first.
