newHimesh Reshammiya is on the lookout for not one, not two but three heroines.

After the success of his acting debut, Aap Kaa Surroor, the singer-music composer has signed on three films. And all of them are slated to release next year.

The first will be directed by John Mathew Mathan, who gave us the brilliant Sarfarosh, and the not-so-brilliant Shikhar. Himesh plays a tapori, who romances a rich girl. The film will be jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Mathan Mathew.

The second film is written by Mahesh Bhatt and will be directed by Pooja Bhatt. It will be a Rs 30 crore musical, set up in three continents: Africa, Europe and Pakistan.

It tells the story of a boy and girl, who fall in love in Morocco. Later, he learns that she is a prostitute in Pakistan's Heera Mandi.

The third film is the remake of Subhash Ghai's hit film, Karz.

It will be directed by Satish Kaushik. Karz will be shot in South Africa, and will introduce a newcomer in Tina Munim's part. Urmila Matondkar will play in Simi Garewal's role.

Apparently, in the last two films, Himesh will sport a different look, and will be seen without his trademark cap.

Meanwhile, Prashant Chaddha -- who directed Aap Kaa Surroor -- is busy scripting its sequel, called Aye Himesh Bhai.

Himesh has already shed seven kilos in preparation for his role, and will shed a further five kilos in the next month. He will start shooting for his first film in January.

Of course, the music for his films will be scored by Himesh.

Meanwhile, sources say that he is on the top of the world after his contestant Aneek Dhar won the Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge.

Himesh will also be one of the first Indians to perform in Amsterdam's Heineken Music Hall on December 1, which has seen the likes of international rockstars like Norah Jones, Beyonce, Pink Flyod, Lionel Richie, Nelly Furtado and Bryan Adams.
