First Look: Suriya's Singham 2

Singham, directed by Hari, was one of the biggest commercial successes for actor Suriya, catapulting him to stardom.

It was the actor's 25th film, in which like a true lion, he screamed throughout.

About acting in such a total commercial masala film, Suriya had told rediff.com then: “Every film and every character is challenging. I enjoy every film of mine, and that

is why I jump from one genre to another. I like to do a Singam and a Vaaranam Aayiram, or aRam Gopal Varma film. I like to do different kinds of films as every film is a different experience.”

No wonder he is joining hands with director Hari for Singham 2. From the posters, it is quite evident that the lion will roar again, and more loudly! 

Singham was remade, in Hindi, with Ajay Devgn in the lead and it was a huge success as well.
