First Look: Gopichand's Loukyam

Rakul Preet Singh and Gopichand in LoukyamAfter the successful Sahasam last year, Gopichand took some time to sign Loukyam, directed by Srivas, with whom he had worked earlier in Lakshyam (2007). 

Rakul Preet Singh, whose popularity is increasing in the Telugu film industry, is paired opposite Gopichand. Loukyam is produced by V Anand Prasad under the Bhavya Creations banner.

Loukyam means ‘diplomacy’ in English. Gopichand plays a diplomatic man who handles all the difficulties with a smile.

Hamsa Nandini does a cameo in the film, where she attempts comedy for the first time. Brahmanandam too has a substantial role, which will delight audiences.

The story of this film is written by Sridhar Seepana. The screenplay is by Kona Venkat and Gopimohan.

Anoop Reubens is the music director, Kanal Kannan, the action director, Vetri the cinematographer and S R Sekhar, the film editor.

The film has been shot mostly in Hyderabad, with the songs filmed in Europe.

The production phase is over and Loukyam is currently in post-production.
