First Look: Pradeep Nair's Cherukkanum Pennum

A scene from Cherukkanum PennumDirector Pradeep Nair, who won the National Award for his debut film Oridam, has announced his next Malayalam venture, Cherukkanum Pennum (Boy and a girl).

Sreejith Vijay, who shot to fame playing the male lead in the hit film Rathinirvedam, plays the hero. Deepthi Nambiar, who was recently seen in the Tamil hit Engeyum Eppothum, is the heroine.

According to the director, "Cherukkanum Pennum is a new age love story of love, lust and reprisal."

The shooting of the film, launched under the banner of Filmbuff Productions, will start soon. The script has been written by Pradeep Nair and Rajesh Varma.

The cinematographer is M Manoj. Lyrics by Murukan Kattakkada have been set to music by Arun Siddharth.

The photo shoot of Cherukkanum Pennum was recently held at Kochi.
