Mohanlal is angry

In his latest blog post, Mohanlal has lashed out at those who spread false rumours of veteran comedian Mamukkoya's death.

Mohanlal says he has been a victim of such propaganda himself, before mobile phones made communications easy. This caused much tension for his parents, says the hero.

He does not blame the social media but feels that there should be a mechanism to find the source behind the false news, and the culprits must be punished, he feels.

Jude's comments on Rani Padmini creates a storm

Hours after the release of Aashiq Abu's Rani Padmini last Friday, Ohm Shaanthi Oshaana director Jude Anthany Joseph posted this on his Facebook page: 'Can't stop posting this. Really disappointed with Rani Padmini.'

Of course, Jude was subject to severe criticism.

After inundated with hate comments, he deleted the post and came up with an explanation that he is still coming to terms with the fact that he is a director.

But many came in support of Jude, saying that even Aashiq had severely criticized Kamal Haasan's Viswaroopam, when it released.
