Kabir Khan's upcoming film 83 celebrates the legends of cricket.
From Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Mohinder Amarnath, Sandeep Patil, Yashpal Sharma, Roger Binny, Madan Lal, Ravi Shastri, Kirti Azad, Syed Kirmani, Balwinder Sandhu, Sunil Valson and Dilip Vengsarkar, the film tells the story of how this Indian team won the World Cup in 1983.
Ranveer Singh plays Kapil Dev while his wife Deepika Padukone plays his onscreen wife, Romi.
The makers have been introducing a new member of the team everyday in the run-up to its release on April 10.
When asked about how he designed Ranveer's look in the film, Kabir Khan told us, "We were not doing a lookalike contest; we were making a film and, at some point, the audience would believe that Ranveer Singh was playing Kapil Dev."
