Having known Zoa Morani from the time she made her acting debut in 2011's Always Kabhi Kabhi it was a matter of concern for me when I heard about her being tested positive for coronavirus.
"Yes, my sister Shaza and I have tested positive for COVID-19," confirms Zoa. "We are in separate hospitals. Shaza is in Nanavati hospital whereas I am at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital (both in north west Mumbai)."
"The team at Kokilaben hospital is taking really good care of me. The entire staff is so loving and caring. I am relieved I am in safe hands," she adds.
Zoa, who is the daughter of well-known producer Karim Morani, says she is allowed no visitors.
"My parents cannot see me until I recover, but it's okay. I am in good spirits. My sister and I will be out of this soon," she says.
We wish Zoa and Shaza a quick and complete recovery.
