COMING UP: Entertainment, entertainment, entertainment!

The last two months of the year have plenty of entertainment to offer.

Besides films, there are quite a few Web series coming up.

Some of them have spilled over to the next year, giving us something to look forward to in 2021.

Joginder Tuteja lists them for us:

 

Mum Bhai
Where to watch: ALT Balaji and ZEE5
Release date: November 12

There are as many as five movie releases in November, and a Web series dropping every week.

The first to arrive is the retro gangster crime drama thriller, Mum Bhai.

With a similar tone to Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, this one is also backed by Ekta Kapoor and features Angad Bedi, Sikandar Kher and Sandeepa Dhar.

 

Bicchoo Ka Khel
Where to watch: ALT Balaji and ZEE5
Release date: November 18

Divyenndu is currently flying high with the success of Mirzapur 2.

But that's not all we see of him.

He also leads the cast in the dramatic thriller, Bicchoo Ka Khel.

Set for a Diwali release, this one co-stars Anshul Chauhan.

 

Raat Baaki Hai
Where to watch: ZEE5
Release date: November 20

Paoli Dam, Rahul Dev and Anup Soni feature in Raat Baaki Hai.

One waits to see how this film is different from Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Raat Akeli Hai.

 

Dark 7 White
Where to watch: ALT Balaji and ZEE5
Release date: November 24

Starring Sumeet Vyas and Nidhi Singh, Dark 7 White is a political thriller.

Jatin Sarna, the gangster in Sacred Games, plays a cop here.

 

Naxalbari
Where to watch: ZEE5
Release date: November 28

Naxalbari explores the Naxal issue.

A major part of its shooting was completed during the lockdown.

Rajeev Khandelwal plays a cop trying to nab a Naxalite, played by Satyadeep Mishra.

Tina Dutta and Narayani Shastri also star.

 

Black Widows
Where to watch: ZEE5
Release date: Winter 2020

What happens when three women hatch a thrilling plan that sounds impossible to execute, but holds a lot of promise?

This is the theme of Black Widows, starring Mona Singh, Raima Sen, Shamita Shetty and Swastika Mukherjee.

A promising affair, this series also stars Sharad Kelkar and Parambrata Chatterjee.

 

Nail Polish
Where to watch: ZEE5
Release date: January 1

A courtroom drama, Nail Polish has a lot of twists.

It marks the return of Arjun Rampal on the OTT platform after The Final Call.

Also starring Manav Kaul and Rajit Kapur, Nail Polish has been directed by 'Bugs' Bhargava Krishna of Barot House fame.

This will be the first Web series of 2021.

 

Zidd
Where to watch: ZEE5
Release date: January 2021

Amit Sadh, who had quite an eventful 2020 with as many as five releases (Breathe 2, Avrodh, Operation Parindey, Shakuntala Devi and Yaara), embarks on an eventful 2021 as well, with Zidd as his first release of the year.

A dramatic actioner, this is currently being shot in Manali.

The series marks Boney Kapoor's Web debut.

 

Lahore Confidential
Where to watch: ZEE5
Release date: Summer 2021

After London Confidential. ZEE5 has put together a franchise around spy thrillers.

The next in the series is Lahore Confidential, and as the name suggests, the action will shift to Pakistan this time.

Kunal Kohli calls the shots in this series starring Richa Chadha, Arunoday Singh and Karishma Tanna.

 

7th Sense
Where to watch: OTT platform to be announced
Release date: Summer 2021

Shot entirely in the UAE, 7th Sense marks R Madhavan's return on OTT after Breathe.

He would be joined by Tanuj Virwani, who is now a regular on the medium.
