Claudia Schiffer, a consistent feature of People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in the world, is pregnant with her second child, and, by supermodel standards, is unusually indulgent.
At the premiere of husband director Matthew Vaughn's film Layer Cake, a giggling Schiffer encouraged other pregnant women to 'eat whatever you want to eat.'
In fact, she admitted, even supermodels have cravings, hers being 'doughnuts and non-alcoholic beer,' a startling confession from her stunning self.
Questioned about her fitness regime, Schiffer dismissed the idea of yoga or an exercise programme at this time, saying she was just enjoying herself.
The gangster film Layer Cake is Vaughn's first attempt at direction, his producing credits including two of friend Guy Ritchie's films, Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels (1998), and Swept Away (2002), a badly received film featuring Ritchie's wife, Madonna. At that couple's wedding, Vaughn was Best Man.
