Noted human rights lawyer and activist Shahid Azmi lived quite an extraordinary life before he was gunned down in his Mumbai office in 2010.

A former insurgent, who spent seven years in prison, Azmi studied during his time in jail to become a criminal defense lawyer and help people who were wrongly accused for terrorism.

He came in the public eye when he represented 26/11 accused Fahim Ansari.

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta, who came out of his self-imposed break to make a movie called Shahid on Azmi's moving story and actor Rajkumar Yadav, who plays the titular character in the film, will be in the Rediff office today, October 17.

Have questions regarding Shahid Azmi and the film?

Join Hansal Mehta and Rajkumar Yadav as they connect with Rediff readers at 4:30 pm on Thursday, October 17, only on ZaraBol.
