This year three Hindi films will be screened at the prestigious Cannes film festival.

Kaun Hai Jo Sapno Mein Aaya is a musical love story. Kuch Din Kuch Pal is a Hinglish crossover film about six youngsters who discover themselves in London while working at their first job.

Chess is a suspense murder mystery starring Anupam Kher and Mahima Chaudhry.

These films will not participate in the award categories but will be marketed in the film festival for overseas markets like Russia, China, Japan, France, Germany, Spain and the USA.

United Kingdom-based Spice Team Entertainment is producing these films. Meenu Bachan, chief executive of Spice, says, "We are extremely happy that our films were selected to be showcased at Cannes."

It will be recalled that last year Aishwarya Rai was selected as one of the judges at the film festival.
