Britney Spears and husband Kevin Federline, after their surprise wedding in California on September 18, spent last weekend in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, and plan to take their ongoing honeymoon across the pond to England.
Madonna, now a British resident, has invited the couple to spend time at her country estate in rural Wiltshire, which she shares with director Guy Ritchie and their children.
Britney, 22, and Madonna, 46, literally bonded in a sensational on-stage kiss at the MTV Video Music Awards last year, and have been close since. The diva made an appearance on Britney's last album.
Madonna, currently championing the Kabbalah, sent the couple an ancient text as an engagement present, something Britney, quick to hop on board the trendiest of New Age religions, reportedly cherished.
