Salman Khan hits box office jackpot with Dabangg

Salman Khan's fans turned out in droves to watch the actor in action in this year's Eid release, Dabangg. Many took advantage of the long weekend to catch the entertaining potboiler which resulted in record breaking collections of approximately    47 crore over its first weekend. It is on its way to becoming a big hit.

No such luck for We Are Family, however, which has turned out to be a flop.

Trade analyst Vinod Mirani gives us the box office verdict for the week.

Dabangg

Cast: Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Dimple Kapadia, Vinod Khanna, Sonu Sood.
