Sapna and Puneesh’s big bad fight. Priyank goes crazy. And Akash goes crazier. The latest updates from the Bigg Boss house.
There is no doubt that Hina Khan knows how to play the game well.
On Day 53, she turns a situation that was initially working against her to her advantage.
Luxury budget task? What’s that?
The housemates seem to have forgotten that a successful luxury budget task leads to goodies for them to feast on.
After three sessions, Bigg Boss declares the court procedure in the divorce case between Arshi Khan and Hiten Tejwani over and asks judges Bandgi Kalra and Sapna Choudhary to decide who presented the better arguments.
Instead, Sapna and Puneesh Sharma get into a spat – where he calls her badtameez (mannerless), anpad (uneducated) and a zero and she calls him stupid.
Sapna declares she cannot come to any agreement with Bandgi and Bigg Boss, as a result, says the task is cancelled because they cannot complete it.
Captaincy… a desperate bid
Akash Dadlani is desperate to become captain because he does not want to eliminated just yet.
He gets agitated because most of the housemates won’t commit to supporting him.
Bigg Boss asks the housemates to choose five contestants – except Bandgi and Sapna – as nominees for the captaincy.
Hina and Shilpa Shinde get an equal number of votes so Hina, who has already been captain, steps down magnanimously.
But she soon realises – prodded by Luv Tyagi – that no one from her group is in the race for captaincy. She tries to get her name in but Akash ditches her and supports Shilpa. Hiten Tejwani remains noncommittal.
Finally, the five contenders for captaincy are Hiten Tejwani, Arshi Khan, Vikas Gupta, Akash Dadlani and Shilpa.
Priyank gets nasty… twice!
Upset that Hina cannot contend for captaincy, Priyank Sharma says Shilpa and Arshi both cannot run and have become like well-fed saands (bulls) in the house.
He’s upset with Hiten as well for teaming with the opposite group and says Hiten should get ‘Bimbo’ written on his forehead.
It’s time for revenge
The pictures of the captaincy contestants have been set up in the garden area.
When the buzzer sounds, Luv paints Vikas out of the captaincy race.
Priyank is dancing as they wait for the buzzer to sound again and Arshi passes a comment. Which triggers Priyank off again.
‘Dancing is an art. You don’t understand it. That is why you have not become an artiste till now. I feel sad,’ he insults her.
Arshi asks him to learn how to respect people.
‘Look who’s talking about respect. It does not look nice when Arshi Khan talks about izzat,’ he says.
And, when the buzzer sound, he paints Arshi out, telling her repeatedly that he hates her.
Hina’s masterstroke
Now that only Shilpa, Akash and Hiten are left in the captaincy fray, Hina takes her gang back to the house.
‘Let Puneesh remove the next contender,’ she laughs.
Akash wants Puneesh to eliminate Hiten, but Puneesh is reluctant.
This leads to arguments as Akash’s behaviour get more and more bizarre.
Contestant of the day
Hina Khan, for managing to introduce a rift in the opposing group and getting back at Akash for ditching her.
And she did this with a smile on her face and without saying a single nasty word.
My take
Sapna need to learn to keep her cool. If she had been sensible, her team would have won the task.
Puneesh and Priyank need to think twice before spitting out their words.
