March 15, 2005 18:42 IST

Lyrics of the Beatles song All you need is love have been voted as the greatest words ever in an Internet poll, and will adorn the walls of the arrivals walkway at London's Luton airport.

The poll was conducted by Luton First, set up to promote the Bedfordshire town, reports BBC.

'The winning quotation is a great choice as the words will send out an immediate, positive and life affirming message to all visitors arriving in the UK,' said Paul Kehoe, managing

director of Luton Airport.

According to the poll, the top five lines of all time are:

All you need is love -- The Beatles

'Unto thine own self be true'

'All journeys begin with a first step'

'Never in the field of human conflict..' -- Winston Churchill

'Man does not live by bread alone' -- The Bible
