Prabhas in BaahubaliDirector Rajamouli confirms the shooting dates for the Baahubali sequel; the film will finally go on the floors on December 15.

It's final, though not yet official. The filming of the eagerly-awaited sequel to the mega blockbuster Baahubali will start rolling on December 15. The shoot will wrap up in six months.

Director Rajamouli, who had been caught up with his massive sequel's pre-production work, took time off to talk about the film.

"We start shooting in mid-December and hope to end by July 2016," says Rajamouli. The brilliant creator of celluloid dreams revealed there is no significant addition to the original cast.

The original plan was to resume shooting for the sequel in November. However, pre-production details took longer than expected.

A source close to the project adds, "Since the sequel was planned simultaneously with the first Baahubali film, much of the war scenes and some other key sequences have already been shot. Now about 70 per cent of the film remains, with Anushka Shetty, Prabhas and Sathyaraj leading the cast."
