While Bollywood is slowly beginning making a plan, the Tamil film industry is also getting into action.
But it's the Telugu film industry that has its superstars making release announcements in quick succession.
A1 Express
Release date: February 26
Set against the backdrop of hockey, A1 Express is a sports comedy which deals with the issue of corruption in the world of sports.
Sundeep Kishan, who has been a part of the industry for over a decade, is the leading man in the film. Lavanya Tripathi is the leading lady.
Seetimaarr
Release date: April 2
Seetimaarr is another sports-based film, and it will arrive a few weeks after A1Express.
With Gopichand taking charge, it boasts of some good action.
Tamannaah plays the leading lady.
Vakeel Saab
Release date: April 9
An official remake of Pink, the teaser of Vakeel Saab has already created a stir.
Pawan Kalyan steps into Amitabh Bachchan's shoes for this courtroom drama.
Boney Kapoor presents the film.
Love Story
Release date: April 16
As the name suggests, Love Story is a romantic entertainer.
The film was originally slated to arrive in 2020, but was pushed ahead due to the pandemic.
Starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, this is directed by Sekhar Kammula.
Viraata Parvam
Release date: April 30
Sai Pallavi will have a busy April, what with Viraata Parvam arriving just a fortnight after Love Story.
An action drama centered on the Naxalite movement in the 1990s, this one is expected to be a hard hitting affair with Rana Daggubati leading the charge.
Narappa
Release date: May 14
Two weeks after the arrival of Viraata Parvam, Rana Daggubati's uncle Venkatesh will release his film, Narappa.
This is also an action drama with a rural backdrop.
An official remake of the Tamil film, Asuran, this one should be hard hitting as well.
Khiladi
Release date: May 28
Expect a lot of masala and action in Khiladi where Ravi Teja would be back to regaling audiences after Krack.
It is expected that the film would be double the fun as the superstar features in a double role.
Varudu Kaavalenu
Release date: May
Varudu Kaavalenu will arrive in May.
Directed by Lakshmi Sowjanya, the film features Naga Shaurya and Ritu Varma in the leading roles and has just gone on floors in Hyderabad.
Major
Release date: July 2
The bravery demonstrated by Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai is well documented.
Now, Adivi Sesh will bring the action drama on the big screen with his Telugu-Hindi bilingual Major, which is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka.
Ghani

Varun Tej plays a boxer in Ghani, directed by Kiran Korrapati.
Considering that Vijay Devarakonda is also playing a boxer in Liger, it would be interesting to see how Ghani will be different.
Saiee Manjrekar, who made her debut with Dabangg 3, is the leading lady here, with Upendra and Suniel Shetty providing able support.

The comedy F3: Fun And Frustration is a sequel to F2.

RRR

The baap of all movies, it will not be surprising if RRR gets the biggest opening not only in Telugu but also in its Hindi version.
Director S S Rajamouli will release RRR across all the major languages and with Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in principal roles, this Dusshehra release is set to be the year's biggest film.
