Film folk seemed to have used the months of the lockdown to plan new projects. And so, we have had a few movie announcements rolling out.

Akshay Kumar's Raksha Bandhan
Akshay Kumar has over half a dozen films lined up for release until the end of 2021, and he adds yet another one.
He teams up again with Director Aanand L Rai for Raksha Bandhan, a film which will be presented by his sister Alka Hiranandani.
Akshay is already doing Atrangi Re with Aanand Rai, co-starring Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan.

It will be directed by Gurmeet Singh, who gained popularity with the Web series, Inside Edge and Mirzapur.
Vivek Oberoi's Iti and Rosie
It will be a double bill for Vivek Oberoi who will be seen in back-to-back thrillers, Iti and Rosie.
The films mark the comeback of Producer Prernaa A Arora who went through her share of legal problems before she came out of them.
While Iti has a key plot point of 'solving one's own murder', Rosie is a horror-thriller franchise.
Both films are directed by Vishal Mishra.
Nushrat Bharucha's Chhori
The Marathi horror-mystery Lapachhapi will be remade in Hindi as Chhori with Director Vishal Furia.
It will be produced by Vikram Malhotra who recently made Shakuntala Devi and Breathe: Into The Shadows.

Horror seems to be the toast of the season.
Aftab Shivdasani makes his comeback with Dhundh.
He turns producer with this film, in collaboration with Prernaa A Arora, which has the tagline: 'Evil Has An Address, Your Mind'.
