The film will release on May 15.

Bollywood roots for #NetNeutrality

The Internet appears to be in danger in India as telecom operators have asked Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to allow them to block apps and websites and charge money from both consumers and businesses to the detriment of users. Several celebrities took to Twitter to protest against it:

Shabana Azmi to act in British television show

Shabana Azmi, who recently finished shooting for Sanjay Gupta’s Jazbaa, is all set to start shooting for new BBC1 drama Capital.

Confirming the news, Azmi tweeted: ‘On my way to London for a new BBC production with a stellar cast. Wish me luck friends.'

The three-part drama series is an adaptation of the bestselling novel by John Lanchester.

Big B gets nostalgic

Amitabh Bachchan got nostalgic about his 1991 film Ajooba, as it completed 24 years.

He shared a photograph of himself with co-star Dimple Kapadia and director Shashi Kapoor (above) and tweeted: ‘AJOOBA film 24th anniversary.’  

Directed by Kapoor, the film co-stars Rishi Kapoor, Sonam, Shammi Kapoor, Saeed Jaffrey, Sushma Seth, Amrish Puri, Dalip Tahil and Dara Singh.

Rana Daggubati takes a break from Bangalore Days

Actor Rana Daggubati recently completed shooting for the first schedule of Bommarillu Bhaskar’s Bangalore Days.

Rana tweeted: ‘Done with the first week of shoot for the Bangalore Days remake. Heading home for a few days before I'm back on set! Great team to work with!’

The film, which is a Tamil remake of Malayalam film Bangalore Days, will also feature Arya, Bobby Simha, Sri Divya, Raai Laxmi and Parvathy.
