Amrutha Suresh denies divorce rumours

Malayalam singer Amrutha Suresh has lashed out at reports that her marriage to actor Bala is on the rocks and the couple is contemplating for a divorce. 

In a strongly worded Facebook post Amrutha wrote, ‘For those who enjoy doing these craps... what pleasure do you get from this? Leave us alone… hope facebook pages are meant for good causes and not for playing with families... shame on you people!’ she posted.

Rimi Tomy gears up for the release of Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare

 

Popular Malayalam singer and TV anchor Rimi Tomy will next be seen in Kannan Thamarakkulam’s Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare.

She plays Pushpavalli, who is addicted to TV soaps and is married to a scriptwriter of TV serials, Jayadevan, played by Jayaram.

“I really enjoyed playing the character as she is quite similar to me in most of her mannerisms,” said Rimi .

Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare will release on June 12.

T P 51 has been inspired by real events

 

Debutant director Moidu Thazhath’s T P 51 is reportedly based on the life, and particularly the murder, in 2012, of leftist leader T P Chandrasekharan.

According to the film’s makers, the film will expose the conspiracies that led to the gruesome murder.There was strong opposition to the film and those working on it were even threatened.

The film was shot in locations where T P Chandrasekharan lived. Many real life characters are named in the film. Newcomer Ramesh Vadakara plays the role of T P Chandrasekharan.

The film, on one of the most controversial political murders in Kerala history, will hit the screens this weekend.
