Amal Neerad marries Jyotirmayi

Cinematographer turned filmmaker Amal Neerad married actor Jyotirmayi recently.

The two reportedly fell in love during the shooting of Amal’s Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded, in 2009.

Jyotirmayi was earlier married to an IT professional. They divorced some years ago. She has acted in films like Bhavam, Meesa Madhavan, Anyar, Janakan and some Tamil films too.

Amal made the much appreciated Iyobinte Pusthakam last year.

 

Vineeth and Dhyan to come together on screen

Actor and filmmaker Vineeth Sreenivasan had launched his younger brother Dhyan in the film Thira.

The two will be seen together on screen for the first time in debutant director Basil Joseph’s Kunji Ramayanam.

Aju Varghese is also in the film.

Vineeth posted on his Facebook page: ‘Basil Joseph should be a familiar name for many who follow Malayalam short films…This is the first time I am sharing screen space with Dhyan…God has been really kind to all the debutant directors from our circle so far… I hope that great things will happen to this film as well.’

 

Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya in Rajesh Pillai’s next

Rajesh Pillai shot to fame with Traffic recently announced his forthcoming project, which will have Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya in the lead.

The new film is produced by Aashiq Usman under the banner of Milestone Cinemas and has been scripted by Arun Lal.

The shooting is expected to start later this year.
