Forbes, the well-known American business magazine, estimates that Akshay earned $48.5 million (about Rs 3,66,91,46,250 or Rs 3.66 billion!) over the last 12 months, which makes him the 52nd highest-paid celebrity on the list.
Though the Indian-Canadian star made the list, Akshay's rank dropped from 33 last year.
Still, he left American biggies like Will Smith, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Rihanna trailing behind.
American media personality and model Kylie Jenner topped the Forbes list with earnings of $590 million (more than 10 plus times what Akshay earned).
Kanye West is second; the rapper -- way behind Kylie Jenner though -- made $170 million.
Kylie Jenner's older half-sister Kim Kardashian, by the way, is married to Kanye.
