Ajith's Vedalam teaser has been creating waves since its release on October 8.
The 45-second teaser had 50,000 likes within the hour and went on to cross one million views in less than 24 hours.
We see a beefed-up Ajith in a psychopathic avatar taunting his enemies in the trailer.
Directed by Siva, who had worked with Ajith in the superhit Veeram, the film is all set to hit the screens this Diwali.

Srikanth's horror film
Roja Kootam actor Srikanth has been missing in action for nearly three years now; his last Tamil film was 2012's Paagan.
The actor is currently working on Vadivudaiyan's horror film, Sowkarpettai. The film is a tri-lingual, made in Tamil, Telugu (Begum Beta) and Hindi (Tantra Shakthi).
Srikanth essays a dual role in the film, one of which is an aghori sadhu. The actor is reported to have undergone rigorous training for his role, hanging around with tantriks and real-life aghoris to learn their body language.
Raai Laxmi plays the heroine. The film also stars Vivek, Saravanan, Sampath Raj, Vadivukkarasi and Kovai Sarala.
It will be distributed by Sri Thenandal Films, who are known for their long list of horror hits like Aranmanai, Pisaasu, Kanchana 2 and the more recent Strawberry and Maya.

AR Rahman named Cultural Ambassador for Seychelles
Oscar-winning musician A R Rahman has added yet another feather to his illustrious cap.
He was recently honoured by the Seychelles Ministry of Tourism and Culture, who named him the Cultural Ambassador of the island country.
The Ministry recognised his invaluable services to enhance Seychelles's Art and Cultural development and presented him with a certificate.
An elated Rahman tweeted a picture of his certificate, above, with the caption, 'With love and regards to the people and government of Seychelles.'
Meanwhile, closer home, the musician will be honoured with the Hridaynath Mangeshkar award in Mumbai on October 26.
