The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turns 43 on November 1.
Whatever the outcome of her new film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, we decided to look back at the 12 major benchmarks in her life.
Aishwarya Rai started her career with a Camiln commercial when she was in Standard Nine.
But it was her 1993 Pepsi ad with Aamir Khan and Mahima Chaudry, which got her recognition. It was shot by Prahlad Kakkar.
Aishwarya's life changed when she bagged the Miss World title in 1994.
Aishwarya started on her film career with Mani Ratnam's Tamil film Iruvar in 1997. It co-starred Malayalam film superstar Mohanlal.
