Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Naga ChaitanyaAfter Kal Aaj Aur Kal where three generations of the Kapoor family acted, it’s the turn of the Akkineni family in the Telugu film Manam.

Three generations of the Akkinenis - Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR), his son Akkineni Nagarjuna, and his grandson Naga Chaitanya -- are acting in Manam, directed by National Award-winning director Vikram Kumar (of Ishtam,13B, Ishq fame).

Manam also stars Shriya Saran and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

On the occasion of the 90th birthday of ANR on September 20, the first look of Manam,

currently under production, was released.

The stills look intriguing with the oldest member, ANR, sitting down in a blue jumpsuit and the youngest, Chaitanya, sitting regally on a chair while the dashing Nagarjuna looks debonair in a suit.

And there’s a cute dog to keep them company.

The story of the film is said to be interesting and non-linear.

Chaitanya has indicated that the audience would not be getting the usual three generations saga but will be shocked by the film.

“It will be an interesting film in an entertaining way,” said Chaitanya.

P S Vinod handles the camera, Pravin Pudi is the editor and Anoop Reubens composes music for Manam -- a film to watch out for!
