Arya does a Salman!

Ever since director Bala stripped young actor Arya to his loin cloth, it appears every filmmaker wants to exploit the actor's well-toned body too.

The latest is Vijay of Kireedom (a remake of the Malayalam classic of the same name) and Poi Solla Porom (a remake of the Hindi film Khosla ka khosla) fame. The director has used wrestling as a means to expose Arya in the Tamil film, Madrasa Pattinam, a period film. Looks like it is not only heroines who are exploited!

Set in pre-independence India, rather than the city of Madras, Madrasa Pattinam is said to be a love story of a peasant and a white girl. Amy Jackson, the Miss Teen World, 2008 plays the girl in question.

Nirav Shah who handled the cinematography of the Dhoom series and Billa is also the cinematographer here while Antony is the editor. GV Prakash has composed the music while Na. Muthukumar the lyrics. The toughest job will be that of V Selvakumar, the art director, to create the Madras of the 1940s.
