Around this hopeless phase, the Scorpion was offered to be a part of Rajiv Rai's action-packed multi-starrer, Mohra. The role, however, came to her under rather unfortunate circumstances. After the film's original heroine Divya Bharti's tragic demise, Rai had no choice but to look for replacements.

As for Raveena, Mohra was nothing short of a God-sent opportunity. Not only did the movie do roaring business and shatter the jinx tag, it also made her the Mast Mast girl of tinsel town as well establish a hit pairing with co-star Akshay Kumar.
