I love to dress up in western and Indian. I love make-up.

What do your parents think about Anandi? Do they feel pressurised at any point?

My mom comes with me for shoot. My parents compliment me when I perform well, my bridal wear and jewellery. At my age, we don't get to wear such clothes and jewellery.

I don't shoot during my exams so there is no pressure on my parents and me.

What shows did you do before Balika Vadhu?

I have done serials like Rajkumar Aryan, Meri Awaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshini, Chalti Ka Naam Gaddi and Karam Apna Apna. I have done a few ramp shows for Gini and Jonny too.

Have you taken any acting classes?

No. Acting is my hobby. I learnt it from my father. My father is the writer of Balika Vadhu. My director Siddharth Sengupta explains everything to me in detail, and that helps me in front of the camera.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Miss Universe, and an actress (smiles).
