Shankar's Robot seems to be back on track, as Aishwarya Rai [Images] Bachchan has finally given her nod.
We had earlier reported that Ash dropped out of the mega project because Shankar wanted her dates spread over two years, which did not go well with Ash. Apparently, the actress hopes to start a family soon, and did not want to wait so long.
But Shankar has agreed to shoot Ash's scenes first, and then move on to Rajnikanth's [Images] portions.
According to sources, Ash will be getting Rs 6 crores for this film, the highest an actress has ever received for a film.
Robot is a story of a scientist who creates a robot, which then becomes a nuisance to the society.
Initially, the film was to be made with Shah Rukh Khan [Images] in the lead but the actor backed out. Then, Shankar approached Ajith, who could not do the film either. Finally, it was Rajnikanth to came to his Sivaji director's aid, and bagged the film.
