They have been rivals since their acting debuts.
Through time, Shah Rukh Khan [Images] has become the biggest star in Bollywood while Aamir Khan [Images] has always paid attention to meaningful cinema rather than focusing on the box office.
So when Aamir was approached by the mobile company, Samsung, to promote their brand, it seemed to be a direct challenge to SRK [Images], who endorses rival company, Nokia.
At a press meet, when a journalist asked Aamir how he perceives competition from Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir grinned, "As always, Shah Rukh Khan prefers to come second."
He denied that he was joining Indian Cricket League or will own any cricket team in the future like Shah Rukh Khan, who owns the Kolkata team for Indian Premier League.
"I am not purchasing any team but as a fan, I love to watch cricket," Aamir said.
Aamir had taken on SRK before when he promoted Coca Cola, the rival company of Pepsi, which Shah Rukh endorses.
Interestingly, Aamir had refused Yash Chopra's [Images] Darr; the role finally went to Shah Rukh Khan and made him a star overnight.
