The jinxed project seems to be finally taking off.

Shekhar Kapur [Images] will make his long-delayed project Time Machine. Only this time, it will star Ranbir Kapoor [Images], instead of Aamir Khan [Images].

The initial cast also included Naseeruddin Shah [Images], Rekha and Raveena Tandon [Images]. The film has been in the making since the early 1990s, and did not take off because Kapur got busy with other projects.

Time Machine, incidentally, seems to be an unlucky subject for Hindi films. Ram Gopal Varma had also hoped to make a film called Time Machine with Shah Rukh Khan [Images]. But it did not happen.

Lets hope Shekhar Kapur meets with better success this time.
