Having Mallika Sherawat [Images] in your film has quite a few perks, besides the more obvious one of roping in a sex bomb. You could have Jackie Chan [Images] as the chief guest for the music launch!

When Kamal Haasan [Images] wanted Chan to launch the music of his film, Dasavatharam, he asked Mallika to help out. And now, Chan will, in all probability, fly down to Chennai for the launch in March.

Mallika had worked with Chan in The Myth, in which she had a tiny role. But the two forged a good friendship during the making of the film as well as their trip to the Cannes film festival.

Dasavatharam is one of the most ambitious Tamil films of the year, and will star Hassan in 10 different roles. Besides Mallika, the film also stars Tamil actress, Asin. The music has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya [Images].
