Kishore Kumar, one of the greatest singer-actors in Hindi cinema, will soon be immortalised in film.

Nagesh Kukunoor, who has helmed such films like Hyderabad Blues, Iqbal and Dor, is slated to direct the film. Titled Kishoreda, the film will be produced by Percept Pictures Company.

For the biopic, Kukunoor and PPC will tie up with the reality show, K For Kishore, currently being telecast on Sony Entertainment Television, to select the voice of Kishoreda in the film.

Kukunoor will also be seen on the reality show as part of the jury. As per reliable sources, the script of the film is ready but the cast has not been finalised yet. However, both PPC and Kukunoor have refrained from commenting on the film.

Kishoreda will go on the floors in October.

An ardent follower of Alfred Hitchcock movies, Kishore Kumar has sung more than 10,000 songs in his career.
