The film industry obviously means it when it says, 'There are no permanent enemies and permanent friends in Bollywood.'
The latest we hear is that Ektaa Kapoor and Sanjay Gupta have patched up.
Gupta threw a party for singles on Valentine's Day, and invited Ektaa at the bash as well.
The duo had fallen out after a financial dispute over their film, Shootout At Lokhandwala. Both Ektaa and Gupta were producing this film, starring Sanjay Dutt [Images], Vivek Oberoi [Images], Suniel Shetty [Images] and Arbaaz Khan [Images].
Ektaa claimed that there were financial irregularities but Gupta denied any wrongdoings.
According to sources, Gupta had accounted Rs 2 crore as remuneration for Amitabh Bachchan [Images], who appeared in a special appearance. But Bachchan stated that he had done the film for free because it was directed by Apoorva Lakhia, a close friend of the family.
Ektaa got furious about this and broke the partnership with Gupta, as they were to produce more films jointly.
But Valentine's Day has made them friends again.
We wonder if they will revive their joint production plans.
