Yesteryear actor Rajendra Nath passed away in Mumbai on February 13 after prolonged illness. He was 76.

The popular actor had been suffering from breathing problems for the last several days. His cremation will be carried out Thursday.

The actor who began his career in 1938 with Vachan has acted in several movies like Patanga, Hum Sab Chor Hain and Dil Deke Dekho.

However, it was his role of Popatlal in the 1961 box-office hit Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai that made him a household name. The name Popatlal stuck to him.
